Trivedi.

Co-founder and director

A lifelong player, teacher, entrepreneur, and club builder, Chintan Trivedi leads Nassau Tennis and Sports Center around one belief: tennis should be open to everyone and last a lifetime.

Beyond the baseline

A tennis life built from the ground up.

Trivedi began playing at 17 in a small town in India. Without formal lessons, he practiced on a public court and against a wall, studied biomechanics, and shadowed recordings of professional matches. He soon began competing in state championships and organizing youth instruction, growing a local program from 18 to 84 players.

His coaching path took him to Camp Manitou in Canada and then to the Tennis Club of Riverdale in New York. While continuing to teach, he built careers in banking and real estate and later helped launch indoor programming at McCarren Tennis Center in 2017.

He eventually focused his energy on Nassau Tennis and Sports Center, shaping it into a year-round home for juniors, adults, competitive players, and families. His aim is to widen access to the game, strengthen the local tennis community, and help more players make tennis a lifelong sport.

“Tennis for everyone, Tennis for life.”

A community-first vision

Build the game by opening the door.

Long Island Tennis Magazine reported that the club's database grew from about 400 people to 2,000 in its first two-plus years under his leadership. His broader vision includes school outreach, community partnerships, and using available court time to give more children access to tennis.
