Community Equipment Assistance
Our Mission
Reducing financial barriers to sports and recreation.
Creating Champions, the community impact initiative of Nassau Tennis Center, collects, inspects, and distributes safe, reusable hydration equipment, athletic footwear, tennis rackets, apparel, and other essential recreational supplies to underserved children, families, elderly individuals, athletes, unhoused individuals, and community organizations. The initiative focuses especially on individuals who face financial barriers that prevent them from participating in tennis and other healthy recreational activities.
Through need-based assistance and partnerships with schools, tennis programs, shelters, community centers, and nonprofit organizations, Creating Champions works to ensure that no one is denied the opportunity to stay active or participate fully in their community because they cannot afford the equipment they need.
By directing equipment to individuals and organizations with demonstrated need, the initiative supports access to physical activity and community programs for people of all ages.
